Life in His Hands: The Journey

My twin sister once told me that God called her to lead Bible studies so that she would actually show up. After I laughed about that for awhile, I added, “God wanted me to write a devotional book so that I would actually start living what I’ve learned!” To me, there is something about hard, cold print that makes me feel the need to be more accountable. Waiting

Sometimes I wish waiting weren’t a part of God’s plan. I like to see things happen and know things are moving forward in the direction I want them to go. Waiting simply does not give me the comforting sense that I am in control and everything is going to work out just perfectly. (And I really want to know that!)
