He is the beating of our hearts, the breath in our lungs, and the blood pulsing through our veins. His name is a constant chorus in our hearts, stirring within us during the most ordinary moments of life and rising up like fire in our souls in our most exhilarating moments with Him.
How we long to shout His name for the whole world to hear! He alone is worthy of the awe and praise of every single soul on this earth, for He holds the key to truth, life, and every good thing that has been bought by the price of His blood.
He is Life
He is the answer to the empty, earthly nature of our lives. Only He can take the hollow, deadened places of our souls and bring us back to life.
Every yearning in our hearts will be answered as we live by these simple words: “To live is Christ and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21).
To live for Christ–and Christ alone–will be the greatest honor of our lives, and to die and meet our Savior face-to-face will be our greatest eternal reward.
There is nothing to fear when we submit our lives to Christ, for He is the One who gave up His entire life for us. Christ paid our ransom, setting us free from the grip of sin, hopelessness, and death–and opened up to us the gift of true life.
With Passion Live for Him
Therefore, with passion we will live for Him, no matter where He leads us. Indeed, “If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord” (Romans 14:8). Yes, in all things, we are joyfully His!
As people set free by the unfathomable love of God, I pray we will set the world on fire for Jesus through our passionate commitment to Him! Let’s show the world what true living looks like and leave them amazed by the wonder of who God is.
Let’s stop believing the lie that anything else matters and instead give ourselves to the one thing that truly does. We may have to let go of the small, safe dreams we have for ourselves in order to take hold of something bigger, but it will be worth it.
We just might realize that God wants to change the world through us–to impact it in ways we have not even imagined. God has the power to work in us, “giving [us] the desire and the power to do what pleases him” (Philippians 2:13 NLT). Let’s watch Him defy our limits as we offer Him our entire lives!
I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
